Most people picture a backyard when they think about pool servicing. Ours looks a bit different.
On any given day, our Pool Techs are testing water in a rehab centre, checking chemical levels in a strata pool used by three hundred residents, and servicing a rooftop pool at a serviced apartment building in the CBD. Different pools, different pressures, same standard applied every time.
We manage an extensive portfolio of commercial pools across Sydney, and the variety says a lot about what commercial pool care actually demands.
Health and therapy pools
These are the tightest tolerances we work to. Chemical balance, temperature and hygiene all need to sit within a narrow range, every day, because the people using these pools are often vulnerable. That’s why we’re on site daily, and on call outside of that. Some of our health and therapy clients only see a day without service twice a year, Christmas and Easter. Everything else, we’re there.
Documentation matters just as much as the clean. Every visit is recorded, so facility managers have a full history ready for auditing whenever they need it.
Strata pools
Strata is a different kind of pressure. Heavier use, more people, and a strata committee that needs to trust the numbers without being on site to check them themselves. Some of our strata clients get serviced twice a week because the pool sees that much use. Others run once a week and that’s enough to keep things balanced.
Either way, the report we send after every visit isn’t just a record for us. It’s something the committee can put in front of residents, or an auditor, and know it holds up. For a committee, transparency isn’t a nice to have. It’s how they do their job properly.
Hotels, motels and serviced apartments
We also look after pools for some of Sydney’s major serviced apartment operators, particularly across the CBD. Guests expect a pool that looks immaculate and works perfectly, every single time they walk past it. There’s no room for an off day when a five star review is on the line.
The thing that makes it all work
Across every one of those pools, the same principle applies. The same Pool Tech services that pool, visit after visit. Ninety percent of the time, that Tech is the one who walks through the gate, holiday absences aside. They know the equipment, they know the history, they know what normal looks like for that specific pool, which means they catch problems before they become expensive ones.
This is why we don’t call ourselves pool cleaners when it comes to commercial work. Cleaning is one part of the job. Managing water chemistry, equipment health, compliance and reporting across a portfolio like this is a different discipline entirely, and it’s the reason facility managers and strata committees keep us on.
We use premium grade chemicals and equipment across every site we service, residential or commercial. It’s not the cheapest way to run a pool service business, and we’re fine with that. Cheap product on a health pool or a five hundred resident strata block isn’t a risk worth taking.
If you want to see what our clients think of that approach, our Google reviews tell the story better than we can. Committee members, facility managers and building operators across Sydney trust us with pools that can’t afford to go wrong, and that trust is earned one visit at a time.
